![]() ![]() Comes with the original Elitist case, paperwork, and original pickguard. This guitar feels and plays much nicer than my Gibson Memphis ES-335, which is seriously saying something. The finish is imaculate and the quality is amazing. ![]() I have owned three of these Valensi guitars and this is by far the nicest one. This listing is for a Japanese Elitist version in excellent condition. Because of the expensive cost of making these guitars Epiphone later moved the production to Korea which dropped the MSRP from around $1500 dollars for the Elitist to around $699 for the Korean version. Just like a '60s Riviera, this Valensi signature model has 5-ply maple top, back, and sides a one-piece set mahogany neck, 22 frets, a bone nut, tune-o-matic bridge, and trapeze tailpiece. There were two versions of this guitar made: the first was a Japanese made Elitist version and the second was a Korean made "value" version. There seems to be some confusion on the Valensi's so let me try and clarify. This listing is for my Epiphone Elitist Valensi Riveria P-94 in a natural finish. ![]()
